Nearly New Shop

The Nearly New Shop, a non-profit thrift store, operates at 225 E Maude Ave in Sunnyvale, California, with a selection of gently used and new items, including clothes and shoes for women, men, children, purses, jewelry, books, and home decor.

Profits from the shop are donated to scholarships for women, reflecting the mission to support enrichment and opportunities for women, which is evident in the daily operations where items are priced and put out daily.

With a rich history, the shop first opened in Sunnyvale before moving to Palo Alto and eventually returning to Sunnyvale at its current location, initially supporting the California PEO Home in San Jose, but later changing focus to support local women's scholarship opportunities.

Ownership and operation of the shop are handled by 36 PEO chapters of San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties, with volunteers from these chapters staffing the shop, and donations are welcome, being tax deductible, with donors encouraged to consider the item's quality before donating.
